Case V Ensemble
The “V” houses in Voluntari represent a case study in the implementation of the “multigenerational housing” concept – a living arrangement where the extended family and these generations live under the same roof, in an alternative format. In this project, the multi-family layout occurs in independent units, but connected through architectural language.
In the construction of “V” houses, solutions for lightweight, modular assemblies were studied, as well as technical aspects for the creation of SMART homes – with integrated lighting, air conditioning systems and sensors to optimise their consumption and use.
The rigorous architecture and clean, clear lines play an important role in creating spaces with diffuse boundaries, functionally shaped to incorporate all the needs of modern living.
Natural lighting, with two-level windows extending the full height of the current floors, allows for a direct connection to the courtyard space towards which they open.
